COAT
The Borzoi coat is long, silky (not woolly), either flat, wavy or rather curly. On the head, ears and front of legs it should be short and smooth; on the neck the frill should be profuse and rather curly. Feather on hindquarters and tail, long and profuse, less so on chest and back of forelegs.
CHARACTER
The Borzoi has a quiet, gentle nature. His intelligence and easy training have resulted in many Borzois winning Obedience certificates. He is a companion par excellence.

PROBLEM SOLUTION

Detangling/Dematting Apply full strength Moisture Plus liberally to the mat. Wait 15 minutes. Pull mat gently apart with fingers or comb.

Greasy Coat Use Cleansing Shampoo instead of Moisturizing Shampoo.

Coat lacks body Use Texturizing Shampoo instead of Moisturizing Shampoo

Dingy White Coat Use Cleansing Shampoo on the first lather, wait 5 minutes then rinse. Lather with Moisturizing Shampoo and rinse.

Urine Stains Use a small amount of Cleansing Shampoo full strength, wait 5 minutes and rinse

Flyaway Hair Make an anti-static spray with 2 Tablespoons Moisture Plus in 1-pint water.

Thin leg furnishings/feathers Spray diluted Texturizing Mist into a damp coat and fluff dry with a blow dryer.
